Skye-- Another Fantasy Outfit

Click Here for Paper Doll Skye

There's not that much to say about this outfit... It's not one of my favorites and yet I don't hate it either. It's just... another outfit, that's all. =]

I drew it in a hurry several months ago, that explains  the simplicity of it. I would wear the boots though. I would really wear those boots.

Vintage Styled Dress for Emi

Click Here for Paper Doll Emi

Vintage Styled dress for Emi...I'm not altogether pleased with it. The skirt was supposed to have a pattern, but instead it looks like little blobs. And the collar and corset thinger turned out to be the wrong color of grey. But on a positive note, I like the shoes and hair. They turned out nice.

You might be wondering why there aren't as many posts for Emi as for Skye or Ciara. Well, Emi is harder to draw for really. She has an odd body type, and sometimes I just don't want to bother with creating her clothes that will most likely turn out looking weird. But I do try, and when I am on a good drawing streak, I'll draw her clothes.

Oh, and you might have noticed that I added a page on the very top right corner near the search bar. It's a tutorial on how I draw the outfits/dolls. Can you let me know what you think of it?

Lora -- Fearie Girl 7

Click Here for the rest of the Faerie Girls

And I introduce to you Lora, the Seventh Faerie.

My goodness did she take awhile to make! I have been so busy with other things, and I kept forgetting to make her certain clothes. (Like shoes for example.) And then I forgot to draw her jewelry. So I drew her jewelry and scanned her in, but then forgot to color the jewelry! So I had to color it, and then scan it in again. Just little things like that kept  happening. But I think she turned out  very nicely. She might be my favorite now? I'm not sure. I've had trouble picking out a favorite Faerie Girl for quite awhile.

I tried to give her some different clothing, but I always find myself coming back to these categories: warrior, ballgowns, causal/lounge, and fancy dresses.(Which I guess can double as ballgowns.)

She doesn't have as much jewelry as the others, but I think that's fine.

So what do you think of the new Faerie Girl? Yay or  nay?

P.S.
I just realized that I spelled Faerie wrong on the images...oops. And it's too late to fix it. ehehe

Polka Dot Sari for Skye

I realize that the several past posts have been for Skye, but she has lots of outfits waiting to be posted, and I really want to get them up on the site, so I thought it would be good to have a "Skye Marathon".

I have drawn a sari before too, for Ciara. I drew it back in 2010 (wow, that seems like a long time ago!) and I was very excited. I think I am going to attempt another one soon.

I know that ladies from India don't usually wear jeans and Converse with their sari's, but Skye is a crazy American! ahaha

I recently was asked in my survey that I have (up on the other site) to have "More historically accurate outfits." While that is harder to do for me, since it can often involve hours of research, this outfit is accurate, minus the jeans and sneakers. Thank you for the suggestion, Anonymous!

Fantasy outfit for Skye

Click Here for the Paper Doll

Today Skye is going a little bit tribal-fantasy. Bright yellow is one of her favorites.

I am not quite pleased with how the colouring came out, but it was good enough to post it. So here it is!

I really am making an effort on posting here again, so hopefully I can keep a steady stream of posts up.

And here is a shout-out to one of my favorite paper doll websites, Paper Thin Personas. She posts great outfits and dolls. Go check her out!
